Games that I'm playing at the moment:

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Mario Kart 7

I have the Metal Gear Solid HD collection for the 360 and plan to play MGS3 soon since I haven't play it in five years. Need to get back to playing Skyrim as well but I have been so busy with work.

Still playing SWTOR because I never drop anything. Started a new character after I bought a copy for a buddy so I wouldn't have to suffer alone. Unfortunately his computer has a very awkward way of rendering characters.

Here is a screenshot he took.

Question: What is the target of you playing a MMORPG then? For an arcade game, if a person told me he never drops it I assume he wants to reach the final stage and beat the last boss. What do the words "never drop" mean in the case of MMORPG?

Well SWTOR is basically a singleplayer game unfortunately stuck in a really bad (generic and unpolished) MMO. So once I complete all eight class storylines and do all endgame content (of which there is pathetically little) I can drop it.

Edit: More graphical awesome.

True. This applies to most online games; once a player has reached the top level and has nothing else to do except either lead his guild to battle for control of area taxes and other perks, or sell off the account altogether to some 15-year-old with a fistful of cash.

Maxing out pretty much everything they can and clearing out as many quests as humanly possible, I believe. And then rolling another character. Repeat until you've played the game enough that there is literally no area of the game you haven't seen or beaten.

...kinda sounds like Disgaea.

The localization is kind of weird in the Persona games. They leave in the honorifics but change them to different ones. Junpei calls Yukari "Yukaricchi" in the original but it's changed to "Yuka-tan" in the localized version. I get that english speakers won't get what "cchi" means but how is -tan any different? If they're going to include an honorific guide, why change them to different ones? Some of the localization choices just don't make sense to me.

Some people often get addicted to MMORPGs for some reason, there is a reason some people call everquest evercrack I don't know what the apeal to a MMO is but lots of people seem to love it perhaps it is the social element to it I supose.

Same thing applies to every game released on modern consoles, since there's a never ending stream of new content constantly getting patched or downloaded. You're done with the game when you've finished the original single player content, since everything else just keeps getting added on, MMO or not.

This doesn't apply to all games, of course. Since games like Q3 or MMO's like UO of EQ never really had any single player content to begin with and the whole point of the game was to play with other people (doing the same set of things over and over and over again).

I had played some Mario Party with some friends of mine yesterday.

Or as I like to call it "Steal My Star Again and I Will Punch You In the Face You Goddamned Asshole Party".

And now I'm playing it single player.

Not as fun.

Stopped playing Saints Row: The Third after getting both endings and doing pretty much everything I wanted to do after that, so I went back to focusing on trying to get my Trainer Card to the final level in Pokémon Black.

I was able to beat the Super lines for each Subway Boss, so all I need to do to get my Trainer Card to the final level is get the last Musical Prop I'm missing (gotta do a Musical with my brother) and then get all Entralink Powers... Which is going to be pretty much impossible, so I'm just going to have to be content with the second to last level of the Trainer Card. Useless Entralink. :/

I started to play persona 4 and my thoughts are oh my I love this game. I started playing and before I knew it five and a half hours had passed and I did not even notice. If I were to have one complaint though it would be that is is very hard to tell what a shadow's weakness is just seems random but that is a minor complaint which does not bother me. I don't even mind that there they are using honorifics in the dub too.

Fallout: New Vegas.

Actually the second time i play it and now with all the DLCs, got to level 6 on my first session right from the start, i find that a bit worrying.

Just finished Golden Sun: Dark Dawn again. Now, for the bonus bosses! Also, City of Heroes has become my MMO of choice recently, so I've been playing a bit of that.

Indeed. Finished my Gendo playthrough a while back (lady killer, charisma 1, speech 100... mwahaha) and started a new one as Asuka (crit-happy melee style, probably side with legion) but found it rather dull without anywhere new to explore.

Rei was fun in F3 (she and Charon got along quite well) but Shinji... well, his 'pacifist until you piss me off, then I kill you with my bare hands (deathclaw glove) and eat your face' thing just didn't end well. Several towns were angry with him over the whole cannibalism thing and it quickly became pretty much unplayable.

In fact, I think capital wasteland Rei (sporting the neural interface suit, Desmond's glasses and A3-21's plasma rifle) needs to be my avatar for a while.

Played Terraria for about two hours. First time playing, didn't get too far as I spent the first hour or so making my house... and then I went caving. Got a bit of copper and silver, but still not much.
