That's cause Aoba has girly-hair, and Hyuga is a nerd. C'mon, you know I'm right. :P

Anyways...I'm straight, male, and I think I'd have to go with Kaworu, Kaji, or naturally, Fuyutski, cause Fuyutski's so damn awesome.

Why, you ask? Because he's Fuyutski. Fuyutski R0X.

Hey! Hey now! "Girly hair," as you so elequently put it, is a chick magnet! When I had long hair girls couldn't keep their hands off it. I was told that I had better hair than most people. They loved playing with it, and braiding it, and what not. I'm sure now, you're wondering why I cut it if I was getting so much attention. Have you ever had long hair? It can be a hassle, and you shed, like a dog all over the place. Besides, after two-three years it was time for a change. Besides that, I wanted to see peoples' faces at school when I walked in on Monday with short hair. You say nerd like it's a bad thing.

Maybe its because Aoba plays an air guitar? How many girls here like air guitars?

Or maybe its because there's something weird we don't know about with him and Rei. You know during 3rd impact he was the only one who didn't see Rei change into anyone else. It was just all pure Rei for him, so what do you suppose that means?

Perhaps it was an indication that Aoba was too cynical to desire another person. More than likely, it was for the sake of convenience; he never displayed any obvious attraction to any other character, and it wouldn't have been worth it to invent a new one for a three-second shot.

Crap, I forgot all about Toji. Toji is teh rox0rz. I'd leave the dirty work to Hikari, but Toji would be fun to have as a buddy. If anyone messed with me, Toji would go and beat them up without me asking!

Digitalex wrote:I'd have to say Kaji is the winner. He's very James Bond like in the series.

Although thankfully, unlike James Bond, Kaji doesn't sleep with women left and right. (I hate James Bond. So. Much.)

Aubrey wrote:Were Kaworu not in the body of someone fifteen, I'd love to have him as a boyfriend.

I hope you're a guy.

Of course it'd mainly be a friendship thing as I think he'd be wonderful to share long, deep discussions with.

IMO, there's no point in having a romantic relationship with someone if you're not best friends first.

Shinji I can't see as a love interest for me. My relationship with him would be much like Misato's is with him; motherly, sisterly and platonically. Yes there was the kiss in EoE, but I never saw that as romantic. To me it was just given as a gift to comfort him (and his hormones).

Oh dear. There are some threads you simply MUST read.

I never really saw Aoba as cynic. Then again, it's been awhile since I've seen the show, so I might of missed some details. Could you explain how you came to this conclusion?

Defectron wrote:Maybe its because Aoba plays an air guitar? How many girls here like air guitars?

No. Aoba really plays the guitar. In episode 11, I believe, you see him with Hyuga and Maya on the subway with his guitar case. Am right? Again, it's been awhile for me.

Is it just me or does Hyuuga look & act like an older version of Kensuke?

Now that you mention it.... Nah, he's too youn to be his father. But maybe his big brother? heh....

*goes off and writes a fanfic*

If I were a girl, I'd go for Toji, or maybe even Kensuke. They seem much more fun than Shinji, at least.

The long hair issue...sure, plenty of girls like it, but what about in Japan? *turns to Reichu, hoping she can provide magical insight*

As for the "you say nerd like it's a bad thing"...I am a nerd. Very few girls like nerds, though we are apparently generally seen as cute (NOT handsome or anything, just cute...like fluffy teddy bears or something...). :P

Thank God I'm not fat like a lot of geeks/nerds/losers though.

I fail to see how being enlightened about Misato's actual motives (which are essentially spelled out for all cynics in EoTV) would create "another misguided soul". If you are one of them, perhaps it would be prudent to drag this monster out from under the bed once more.
