Geez, it's a good thing they didn't get it, I'd expect the second half of the show to be scrapped entirely. Then what's left will be edited to run as stand alone episodes so it's all happy-cheery without too much violence. All psychology and religious influences will be removed, so you'll have . . . uh . . . would there be anything left?

The Casey and Friends video is on the sort of level of the stuff I've seen posted on /a/ with "Lol, 4kids" tyep comments.

First, they would have cut out all the violence, shortening some episodes to the point where it would be neccessary to combine them to get them back to the proper length. They would have skipped eps 24-26 altogether, 24 because they would have declared Kaworu non kid-safe, and 25-26 because they are too difficult for 4-Kids 5 year old target audience to understand. This would leave us with about 12-13 episodes.

Then, they would have edited the plot and dialogue to remove all hints that any of the characters have a sexual interest each other. They would also have used computers to draw more clothes on the characters during their "service" scenes, and to change the skin-tight Plugsuits into baggy jumpsuits.

Finally, they would have changed the characters' names to Mike, Mary, Susan, and Becky, and set the series in "Neo-Washington".

They would make at least 74 filler episodes where 50 of them are episodes about PenPen and 1 of those episode he gets a girlfriend and never sees her again after that episode.Then the other 24 are surrounding Toji and Kensuke being stooges.

Honestly, I would be surprised if they had 3 episodes of footage after all the cut's they'd have to make.

Any silent scene would instead have diaolouge dubbed in. For example Rei and Asuka's elevator scene would have had Rei trying to tell jokes the whole time.

Shinji would become Stephen. Asuka would become Alex or Alice. Rei would become Rachel. The AT Fields would be explained as the power of love. End of Evangelion would not exist. The Lance of Longuinus would have a big ball on the end. And those cross-shaped explosions would have to go.

I could imagine it now. its the 90s and 4kids decide to air a mecha anime alongside Pokemon. They come up with English names for the characters and such. Then they find out its 26 episodes. Not enough to fill their pocket. Then they watch the show and half the episodes are banned since it cuts things important to the plot. Then they say screw it and give it to Funimation.

Shinji is voiced by Chris Sabat with Yamcha's voice. The End
