Or, if you're referring to the FLCL frame, it's part of the Atomsk/terminal core-thingy that will reach down, grab the giant iron and squish out the wrinkles of everyone's brain if all goes according to plan (if I recall my FLCL mythos correctly.)

Sadamoto designed .Hack? I didn't know that. Now to think of it I remember his name on the unlockable art in the games. Well that explain's Helba's costume, looks like a slutted up member of Seele if you ask me. Probably why I loved her. Death to Piros!

I've never actually seen Beck, but I've seen people compare this charactar to looking the same as Shinji, I agree.

I can't think of any right off hand, but wasn't the Professor from Blue Gender suppose to be similar to Gendo?

well as i posted earlier they do lok alike. yes you could say the characters are similar In Blue gender miyagi says that humans will stay in space, but every one got bored and eventually everyone on second earth kills him and themselves. In the movie Miyagi kills himself because he realized he was wrong.
