Favorite/Least Favorite Angel and Why

It'd have to be a toss up between Iruel, Bardiel and Kaworu/Tabris.
Why? Because they essentially strike at NERV from within.
Great strategy, if you can pull it off.

If I were pushed to pick one, I'd say Iruel because it would have beaten NERV if it weren't for that pesky scientist. With all due respect to the lovely Dr Akagi.

I've watched the series several times, but I can never remember or match the names of the Angels.

Saquiel, Ramiel, Bardiel, Daniel, Shaquille.......

Which one is which? We should just use pet names like Hula Hoop or Flying Cow.

Just to be obnoxious, I'll say... uhhh... Shamshel in Rebuild. Because the head isn't really attached to the body (seriously), they have the legs annoyingly wave around in the same short cycle of animation for the entire fight (short of Shammy's dying twitches), and the arms look way too frail. Plus the CG model doesn't work as well as it does for Ramiel.

As for a real answer... errrr... I dunno. I might harbor a deep-seated resentment for Lilith. She's kind of stupid-looking and frightening at the same time, she goes like a pod for a pea with Rei (who I find a "plot device more than character" tiresomely undeserving her profuse popularity; in before reflexive fanboy defense posts), it's her fault Adam and the kids got fucked over, etc., etc... Fuck you, Lilith.

She should have just gone to Mars like she was supposed to. (How else does a Seed "accidentally" wind up on Earth?) Even if it meant abandoning the Black Moon there; I'm sure she could make do without. (Anything is possible with the right writing.) Then we would all be Martians AND demons, which would just be awesome.

Couldn't this about Lilith all be said about Adam? Speaking of, I like both Angels, I just wish more about them could have been shown other then their respective vessels.

The reason why I dislike Adam is because we really don't see him enough in the series.

We see him in one or two episodes not including when we see him in Gendo's hand.

I wanted to see more of "the giant of light".

See if he could do more than just cause 2nd impact.

Adam, along with Rei Ayanami, are living plot holes.
