What do you think is going to happen to the franchise after the movie is out?

Because as heretical as it sounds, I don't want it to end for good, but I also feel that Anno shouldn't be the one to keep doing it because it's clearly putting too much toll on him and the guy is only human, he's got his limits. Let him rest and give the franchise to someone else to see what they make of it. Gundam didn't die from being taken out of Tomino's hands, Eva won't die from being taken out of Anno's hands either.

Who cares how it ends? , the whole movie is full of symbolism that really does not mean anything until shin Evangelion is released. (SADT player)
Does it even matter how it ends? , it is most likely to end with certain parallelism with EoE (a redux), and if so, then none of the previous films will be worth it because the only thing that really matters will be "shin evangelion final".
Taking into account that the entire "project" Rebuild is purely commercial, it does not surprise me at all.
I have to assume that in the next few years there will be hundreds of spin off (manga), and even "sequels" (evangelion anima "rebuild" version)

PDTA: Probably when that movie premieres in my country, I'll be watching Turn A Gundam for the fourth time (because it's worth it to see something like that again).

I think in 3.0 you can read plenty of meaning into many of these things already.
The SDAT is the one thing from the past Shinji still has.

Top is Shinji, bottom is Asuka, middle I'm uncertain of. I'd say Kaworu due to the frazzled hair, but I could easily be wrong. It's not Misato, Rei or Mari, Ritsuko's hair isn't long enough, Sakura's hair is smoother and I see no reason why someone else would be it.

First is Shinji when Unit 13 awakened and he's scared of what is happening, second is Kaworu when he understand Gendo's plan inside Central Dogma, third is Asuka when Shinji is getting away in Mark.09's hand or in the fight agains Eva 13 (I'm not sure).
