Look, below all the faggotyness of Shuichi and all the bitchiness of Eiri... there is some REAL problems that they over come.
Actually, fanfiction is the best.

Actually, Megamix: Panda has some GREAT character development! It shows the past of Eiri and is SO fucked up, it'd put Eva to shame (that's how much I love it).
Oh, and the end of Megamix: Zebra (I believe that's the one!) is EXTREMELY crazy.

Nuriko/Hotohori weren't REALLY a real couple, I guess... :( More like unrequited love on Nuriko's part. But, Hotohori didn't mind until he discovered that Nuriko was a boy, lol. ;p (then he went off and married a girl who looked JUST LIKE Nuriko... we all know he was just a closet gay *sigh*)

You should read the rest of the manga series. Volume 12 is actually quite sweet.

Also, There's Gravitation EX, the new series.

But... volume 2 hasn't come out yet :( (and the 1st volume was out in February of 2007. *sigh*)
