^ I don't get it :(

View Original PostMr. Tines wrote:It's by Mohiro Kitoh, which means that bad things will happen to children. Though the anime did tone it down a bit in the half it covered.

Wait what? Toned down. Well that's surprising as series didn't really seem to hold much back in terms of terrible stuff (albeit I guess you mean graphic depiction, Narutaru had for most of its run clear dislike for showing blood, no matter what happened)

View Original PostMr. Tines wrote:I've not seen any do-overs since a scanlation was finally completed three years ago,

pm'n like the fist of the north star... :D

View Original PostMr. Tines wrote:That is the only way to do it. Not only was it, like Narutaru, constrained by "can't show that on TV", but it also suffered the fate of an adaptation of an incomplete manga -- by halfway, it's beyond simple adaptation decay, and becomes a completely different story.

I heard the director wanted to go that way. Apparently he asked the mangaka if there was any way for children to be saved. After getting "no" for answer he asked if he could change it in the anime version he got permission

Well, I have new eps of Zakura and Yosuga no Sora waiting for me. Might as well watch them now...

There's pink haired girl in Eureka voiced by same seyuu?

Zakuro ep 3: So, I guess the plot starts to kick in? Yet another good ep. I'm glad I picked up this series. Has without doubt the prettiest cast of the season. Action's nice and I really like characters too

Yosuga no Sora ep 3: I guess the miko girl is the carrier of magical AIDS this time around?

Haven't watched much anything: I've been reading Narutaru all day and just reached halfway point/where anime ended.

Awesome.

The World God Only Knows ep 3 - Another great episode, the timing on the jokes is fantastic and I love Keima's retarded logic.

Shinryaku! Ika Musume ep 3 - Probably the best one so far, but the jokes are still a bit meh and fall short. Although when the lifeguard guy ripped his shirt off and said "bring it on!" I couldn't help but laugh.
And I facepalm when people claim this "isn't a moe anime, it's a light hearted comedy!"

Monster 14 - Oh god, I love the surprises this show keeps throwing at me. I hear there are a lot of these side stories that aren't directly relevant to the plot (like in ep 13 when Tenma stops at that village to help out), but if they are similar to the ones that were so far I have no problem with that as they are still very interesting. Also the pacing so far is perfectly fine, which is something really important for such a long series. I am not disappoint.

Shinryaku! Ika Musume. This show's adorable. I like how they split it up into 3 parts every episode. Also I'm very interested in trying this squid ink spaghetti now...

But obviously it's not any sort of internal conflict that makes the analogy work. It's the pigtails." - Merridian

Because a 6-pack abs simply means low bodyfat % and the last 2 "packs" are untrained so they don't bulge. An 8 pack is the real deal.
Also it means they are wearing those speedos way too low.

P&S episode 4 had a pretty funny 1st half, the transformation scene was unexpected, at least by me. heh

Also I should of known they would be referencing American Pie eventually...Episode 8 was a High School Musical/American Pie 5: The Naked Mile parody, heh. Also various scenes from the movie were copied.

Amagami SS 16 - Best arc so far easily. I was wondering how they would wrap it up this time with the "happy sex" ending like every arc has been so far. But I guess they found a convenient way to get into the setting, lol.

For some reason since seeing the characters for this show I've been looking forward to the chubby girls arc, I hope it won't disappoint. Although I wish they would do an arc with the teacher.

oh man, shitlaods of battle nuns, awesome fightan', lolplottweests, POWAHS

Index ep 3 was good. :D

It looks like ep 4 will be even moar badass now that plot has started to roll forward

I also finally got around continuing Michiko to Hatchin. Ep 7 was great but...am I only one who thought Michiko's behaviour through this ep was borderline out of character? That bugged me
