Good God man, you're making me cry here. Kyoukai no Kanata is pretty, but empty, devoid of anything, soulless. Oh, but it did have a great soundtrack, so there's that.
I won't say anything about Kara no Kyoukai because I love those movies and am physically imcapable of saying anything bad about them.

Also, Ghilbi is fantastic and calling it dysney-esque is almost an insult.

Anyway, I'm not sure how controversial this is, but I'm starting to think Isao Takahata was the best Ghilbi director, surpassing even Myazaki.
