Yeah, the bridge scene in particular seems to have caught a lot of flack for how much it differed from the VN (Shirou's actions do indeed come off as a lot less dumb in the VN). I didn't know that the BD's were going to have extra footage, but hopefully that will remedy it (and give Rider at least a tiny bit a of a fight scene against Kuzuki/Caster rather than the offscreen mauling she got).
