Forgive me, this is only tangentially Eva-related, but as soon as I saw this picture, the first things going through my head were Ritsuko babbling about "You must penetrate the core directly", and the pounding timpani of Decisive Battle (Reichu knows the kind of thing I'm talking about, she seems to be prone to making odd associations like this, too).

Cool, but considering that this was the 80's and bad localizations were at their peak, you'd need to replace anything remotely resembling the anime (or anything foreign-looking, period) with a bulky, sweaty guy with a machine gun (presumably an "Americanized" Shinji) with lots of explosions in the background. Or maybe just paste Misato, Rei, and Asuka's heads onto the "Mobile Light Force" cover.

Looks like the proportions might be a bit better than the previous ones.

EDIT: Here's what appears to be a poorly-Xeroxed flyer of some sort promoting the figure... no photos of the thing, just recycled production art from the show, but the way the "sotai" head is prominantly displayed makes me wonder...
