Or the various items which actually provide insight into the mysteries of This Thread Sucks which will never be released to a western audience, leaving us to the mercy of vehement TTS newbies misguided by unreliable publisher commentary?

Well, it does sound like something Gainax would come up with...and oy, I can only imagine Reichu's cries of "sacrilege!" when she sees the awful artwork in the "synchronized swimming" pics...though since this bit of sacrilege only involves the human cast it doesn't matter as much, heh.
