NME 2.22 - German Release was just today

I'm assuming there's some translation or legal issues with neither non-Japanese editions of 1.11 and 2.22 having the Script as one of the extras...(Then again, the episode scripts for NGE weren't included on Platinum and I doubt the Death(true)2 and EoE scripts would be included on a U.S. (Renewal) release too...)

I guess it's not a legal issue - the Italian release of 1.01 and the new Death/EoE have the translated script as an extra and the same menu structure as the Japanese version.
Unfortunately they only included the speech and not the director's notes, but I guess nothing would stop Funimation from including them, if they care about that.

i haven't watched the dub yet but i just looked up and when Kaji speaks english, he speaks english in the german dub too. (sups are inclusive of course)

well no matter how it sounds thats one up on every other version so far at least, might have to read it but at least you'll know what he's saying properly

This boggles my mind. How could they possibly license, translate, dub, and distribute in less than 5 months? I could see if they hadn't dubbed it... but they did. That's crazy!

Are you sure that Funanimation is not taking their sweet time to grill you guys so that you won't resist when it gets out?

Funimation's process has passed the phase of pointless legal screwing around, and is now in the process of faffing about before getting down to actual work, which will be followed by a period of waiting for people to flock to the three theaters in the country it will be seen in and being disappointed by the lack of ticket sales that anyone could have predicted, followed by more faffing about, followed by the 2.02 release to make us waste money, followed by more faffing about, followed by releasing the good version, the 2.22 release.
