I wake up and I cannot bear reading the morning news. Considering how much the epic touches much of childhood, it's like losing a closest aunt and everything else one anticipates for is lost forever, to be only a memory on the screen, somewhat resuscitated only with the application of CGI and voice clips.

Whatever, fuck 2016.

I found Carries passing really heartbreaking....along with the passing of George Michael as his Older album helped me through hard times.

Her book sounds amazing, I've just procured a copy.

"Confirmed" my ass; she did the math to prove that it's necessary to make the current models work, but that's very much not the same thing.

Mind you, that's not meant to be taken as a dig against her work, which is quite impressive. But that article is making claims that simply are not true.

2016 continues to be an asshole. George Irving died yesterday, though like Adams he lived to a ripe old age.

Among the people who use the Internet, many are obtuse. Because they are locked in their rooms, they hang on to that vision which is spreading across the world. But this does not go beyond mere ‘data’. Data without analysis [thinking], which makes you think that you know everything. This complacency is nothing but a trap. Moreover, the sense of values that counters this notion is paralyzed by it.

And so we arrive at demagogy. - Hideaki Anno, 1996

This year basically confirms that Bowie started up some sort of pleasure paradise club in Heaven and is taking all the hip people along for the ride.

If that results in a keeper of secrets manifesting on New Years Eve in Times Square it'll have been worth it.
