Found out about Williams while at work today, and it definitely changed the mood of the store. Aside from all the great films of his that people have mentioned, plus his shared fandom in Evangelion, he was also apparently a Batman fan and expressed interest in playing the role of Hugo Strange if approached about it in (the then rumored) The Dark Knight Rises film. I love Hugo Strange, and if anybody could have pulled off the role it would have been him. Rest in Peace to a huge part of my childhood.

Surprised that so many people on this board haven't seen One Hour Photo yet. Easily my favorite of his films. The reference to NGE is apt since both works deal with loneliness and the difficulty of connecting with other people, although One Hour Photo is a lot darker.
