They actually taste a bit like grapefruit, but otherwise no different. My mom's friend grew them, a bunch of them have some sort of co-op fruit/veggie sharing thing going on and my mom is responsible for growing all the persimmon and luffa.
Merry Christmas, EGF!

Sounds more like it is not a lemon at all but a hybrid. Co-ops are a great place to find weird and unusual fruits/veggies like that. Right now I have a couple peppers spicing up a jar of pickled banana peppers. They look just like a jalapeno but are as hot as a habanero. At this point I am just waiting for one of my friends to grab one and eat it.

What am I doing: Family friends are coming over today for dinner and to party since last night was our family dinner of Wigilia. :) Wesołych Świąt i szczęśliwego Nowego Roku! (Sure is nice to be with my mom/brother/aunt again.)
What I got: Since we opened gifts Christmas Eve (Christmas Eve is more important than Christmas day, it's considered more "holy" I guess?): Money from various family members, a WoW subscription from my brother, a ring from my mom and a potpourri thing from my aunt. Also, from a friend, some very pretty necklaces. (I might get something else today with family-friends stopping over, who knows.)
Magical Christmas wish: Hm, for the upcoming year~ For the family members that need it (including me!) to find jobs we're happy with AND successful in. It'd be nice if we could make enough money to visit friends around the U.S. as well as our family in Poland since my grandpa's gone.

That's so awesome
Once you reach a legit state of social existence with wife and kids you're supposed to hang around nerd forums
Well, I got some money, clothes, new bedsheets (yay no need to do laundry so often), chocolate and one CD marking this as my first adult Christmas when I don't really get presents

My least favorite part of Christmas is the arguments.
Merry Christmas everyone. I know I haven't been posting as often as I used to, but I'm still around.
I realized last night that the biggest thing I'm looking forward to on Christmas day is my first date with Rinko in LovePlus.
I swear to god my head turned into the forever alone guy for a moment there.

@NaveryW - I want that. So freaking bad.
But anyways, I only got $50 this year. I'm not trying to sound disappointed, but when you receive $200 every year (this is from my grandparents, not total cash received, by the way), and then you only get $50, you kind of feel bad. I mean, yeah I didn't have to get any money, I know. And I already got No More Heroes, Mario Galaxy, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Evangelion: 2.22, and I'm getting FLCL and Evangelion: 1.11 tomorrow or the 27th, so it's not like I didn't get any presents.
Guess it's just a case of don't count your chickens before they hatch or something.
I dunno, I'm not good with figures of speech.
On the bright side, now I can buy the Evangelion series.

I 27x40 inch prints of these posters for Christmahanukkah:
Thought my fellow filmbuffs might appreciate that first one. I'd really like a print of this poster but it doesn't seem to be available for purchase:
I already have a poster for that movie, but I like that poster more.
But yeah, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a belated Happy Festivus to all.
SPOILER: Show

My Christmas was pretty low key this year. I visited my mom and we drank wine (technically I drank Christmas ale mostly) and watched A Christmas Story. Passed out on the couch. Apart from it being 50 degrees, and sampling my Grandparent's new homemade wine, rather uneventful.
I cashed out well this year: new set of pots and pans, clothes, a microwave, a beard trimmer, something to put loose change and stuff in, a DVD player(still don't have a TV but that will change soon), and a metal guitar player statue.
Hope every had good yule time fun.

Today ended up being somewhat hit and miss. Hanging out with my brother and his cat was fun but my mom had a bug up her ass. Meh, holidays and important events can't all be gems. (Thanksgiving sucked too and my birthday was so-so.)
Family-friend brought over a lovely framed photograph, at least.

Anyway, CDJapan did have that AT Field umbrella last year (2010), I guess there's a slight possibility it would be restocked or googling for it could help: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/goods/goods_detail.html?KEY=NEOGDS-31776
