Hello everyone, I'm TheSpleenDilemma. Not a very dynamic or interesting name, but never-the-less good morning or whatever the appropriate response is.
Hopefully my presence here will lead to some productive conversations. Thank-you for having me here and try not to be confused when I start ranting about Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks.
Come on, Eva is a Rom Com begging to see the light of day.

For me, January 2010 = N.G.E.

Jan 2nd: I downloaded the entire series.
Jan 3rd-14th: I watched two/three episodes a night every day. I don't think I've ever had a happier two weeks.
Jan 14th: I watched episodes #25 and #26. I didn't hate them.
Jan 15th: I watched the "Death" part of Death and Rebirth.
Jan 16th: I watched The End of Evangelion.
Jan 17th: I read Wikipedia all day and thought about the last two weeks.
Jan 18th-28th: I read discussions on this forum and rewatched almost all of the series and EoE. I spent this week going to bed feeling like I had just lost something.
Jan 29th: Naturally, I'm here.

Welcome to the "Evangelion ruined my life club"; take a seat, and we'll begin the rehabilitation process shortly.

I tried talking with my friends about it but they didn't have 14 hours to understand so ...

That's a really common reaction to reading this forum. My condolences.

BrikHaus, I just read your review of Planetes. I seriously just downloaded it a few days ago and watched the first three episodes. It's not terrible, but you confirmed my worst fears.

Read the manga instead -- it does pretty much everything that Brik wanted from the anime; in particular it avoids the rage inducing throwaway at the ending.

Yay first post?

Came here looking for info on the Rebuild movies and decided I ought to register.

Eva was one of the first full anime series I watched (97-98 is when I saw it on imported VHS), so I was pretty excited when I stumbled on the remakes.

Hello fellow Eva lovers! I'm Halicat and I've been lurking these boards for a few weeks now and finally decided to join :) I've been a 'proper' Eva fan for only a few months now, but first seen the show when I was 12 [20 now!] it was always one of those shows that stayed with me so when I took an interest in it again I couldn't help but get hooked, I'm glad there's others out there as crazy about discussing it as I am!

Anyway, I don't get much time to spare for forum posting. I'm in full time employment and what spare time I have I try to dedicate to art, but I'll do my best to get involved here :toothy:
