Yep. But we should have heard something about peer-reviewed data by now, and so far nada.

Well that's pretty awesome. And how are they mystified about where the propulsion is coming from? It seems pretty obvious to me... from earlier experiments with light they've proven waves do cause slight force impacts with objects it falls on, so if you put a whole bunch of waves in a container shaped so that the bounces tend to keep going back to one side far more than the other you should get a net acceleration in that direction. There should be 2-3 times as many bounces on the sloped ring then the actual target per cycle, but the slope means most of that resulting thrust vector is out rather than backwards and it happens in alternating directions so it cancels out.

^ Well if he was dumb enough to try cleaning a loaded gun, I guess he's dumb enough to not notice the wound for 3 days. I don't think the painkillers had a whole lot to do with it. And how do you go 3 days without removing your shirt? Seriously... :cringe:

My mother in her 70s managed to fall and not realise she'd broken her collar-bone - three days later she even drove to church, where they scooped her up and whisked her to A&E.

I played my heart out at 15 and all I got for it was happiness and a deep-seated sense that my worth as a human being is not contingent upon my worldly accomplishments.

Doing great things is cool too though. We're all better off for the ones who are driven to do them.

The first of the US Navy's Zumwalt class destroyers, with their funky angular design, just cleared its acceptance trials and was delivered for duty. Guess what the plank holder captain’s name is.
