No dinosaur movie can be more painful than Raptor. Just so long as each shot in Tammy the T-Rex isn’t taken from a different movie entirely, then it’s a passible piece of ham in my book.

Ah so its the death nurse of dinosaur movies then?
I know far too much about terrible movies, blame the league of super critics for that.

Yup. Death Nurse for dinosaurs. Basically no new special effects shots were planned for Raptor, so every time they show their main attraction it’s frame-for-frame exactly like the other movies you’ve probably already seen. (I mean, why would you even get that far unless you’ve already seen the other dinosaur movies in the series?)

Germany only had one and only one solution....and it was Final.
Among the people who use the Internet, many are obtuse. Because they are locked in their rooms, they hang on to that vision which is spreading across the world. But this does not go beyond mere ‘data’. Data without analysis [thinking], which makes you think that you know everything. This complacency is nothing but a trap. Moreover, the sense of values that counters this notion is paralyzed by it.

And so we arrive at demagogy. - Hideaki Anno, 1996

My grandmother was a holocaust survivor. Why would you say something like that?

That was what I thought the Polandball comic was implying. I wasn't intending to cause offense.

What are these flag cartoons? They're always so favourable to the Union Jack.

She wasn't actually a holocaust survivor. I guess it was hard to tell that was a joke.

Wasn’t the German flag different before WWII? The three color bands were there to replace the swastika, from what I recall.

From 1919 to 1933 the German flag was the same as now; it was only changed for the Nazi period.

But for some people such things may be a family memory at the least. As it happens, I spent this evening with a man who was one of the soldiers who entered Belsen to liberate it.

They come from Reddit and are collected here.

Mini tangent but i really don't like when people do that my "x was a holocaust survivor therefore you can never mock horrible events to combat the sadness they caused ever", this one was a joke but so many people do it all the time, a few generations from now that will be 911 and don't say those jokes will never be made because eventually they will(i say a few generations cause america still seems to jump every time it s mentioned so it needs.......quite a bit longer).

Comedy and Tragedy are forever linked so someone is eventually going to joke about something terrible, people really should stop having a stick up their ass about that sort of thing.

9/11, eventually? I don't think it was even a year before I'd heard jokes around the playground. None particularly clever, but they were there. I'm certain a few comedians have been in trouble over it and I'm sure I've heard a few off the television set in years passed.

There will be jokes not even a day after people have died, but it's curious to wonder when the public deem it acceptable to be included in a show or said at work.
