Also, tendonitis is a pain in the ass (well, elbow really) when your job involves sitting at a computer all day. Maybe I need a new desk?

No, and please don't tease me, im kicking my own ass for telling you guys this anyway, I know most of you are sceptics when it comes to the paranormal.
As for your tendonitis, you may benifit from acupuncture, it works. (And for a masochist like me its hawt. I would love to have acupuncture with a happy ending like a massage with a happy ending.)

@Merridian:
Yes migranes, those take a lot out of me though seeing as how occasionally I have to absorb energy. Takes a lot more to absorb than put out. (no inuendo intended.)

Not yet. I'm back on my parent's health plan, so maybe I can afford a look-see into what's going on. The music pastor at my church has these migraines constantly after some sort of head surgery, and a specialist has yet to figure his out. But my case is different, as I've not has any surgery in the head.

Mine seem to be related to blood pressure. When I get the migraines they get worse when I get excited, laugh, or cry, though when I'm not suffering from the headaches I can do all of those things without being effected.

Actually I can cure most migranes by putting my palms over the affected area and foucusing my bodily energies. (im serious about this too) I don't usually tell people so I can avoid that stupid methodist healer appearance. Actually it is more refined than that shit, but I am christian and so people usually make that connection. My skills bring me shame at times due to this stereotypes.

I have not tried that method yet. I'm also not quite sure what you mean by bodily energies. If you want to PM me more about this, I'd appreciate it. I don't subscribe to what sounds like Oprah labeling of mental/spiritual things. (It sounds like she's trying to be christian without embarrassing herself about her outbursts against them a few years back.) And I'm not saying you got it from Oprah or whatever. But I can see where this might work to some degree that people would think is silly simply because of the strange labeling attached to it.

Count me among the general sceptics (sorry!). I will say this though, I'm glad that your treatment works for you (and doubtlessly many others). I just can't imagine how that works (whenever I tried focusing on a migrane, I always felt worse).

That sounds really bad. On the other hand you can use it as a joke, or maybe even to pick up girls.

Eh, at least it's not painful anymore. Hope to get it sorted by mid febuary or so.

Don't know how that would be useful in picking people up though. Most people tend to find blood gross. I reminded of one time when I had an awful nosebleed in a clothes shop years ago that lasted almost an hour. People were practically running away from the scene. Not that I blame em. It was pretty bad.

Actually I can't do it to myself, tis the pity. It would basically be me just cycling energy through my own body, which would acheive nothing and in some cases make things worse.

As for picking up girls, you can ay they are so hot they gave you a nosebleed, I would say 2 out of 10 times it might work. As for me, I enjoy blood to much and would be tempted to drink it from your nose. Luckily I can show self restraint, but if I didn't it would be an odd scene.

@FF4E:
Ill shoot you a PM about that, and it has nothing to do with oprah, its actually a hybrid of ancient chinese feug-shui and western spiritual medicine. But I will explain in more detail later.

Your being far too genereous with those odds. Even in a best case scenario that would definatly end badly:

*Rivers of Blood*
 "Oh dear, are you alright"
:nosebleed: "Sorry, you're just so hot I can't help myself"
 "..."
:nosebleed: "..."

Aw well. Even if it would work, I'm not into girls. If I tried that with any of the guys I know, the nosebleed would be the least of my worries XD

Rude Admin/Mods. Thankfully there aren't any on here.

On a Gorillaz forum, I just got called a "faggot" by an admin, and I was told to stop "egging on" a fellow poster, who is nothing more but a troll and goes around annoying the shit out of posters. I can accept an admin/mod telling me to stop and even warning me about the possibility of being banned, but a admin/mod insulting someone by calling them a juvenile name? Is that really someone that should even have that sort of power? I mean, I guess the creator of the forum can be excused for it, but only because he/she created it.

Nothing worse than a good site run by a complete tool...

I remember I joined a tekken(IIRC) forum in it's early days, I was like it's third member or something and I was asked to be a mod. So cool yeah, never been a mod before but wanted to give it a go. Eventually I made a passing comment about my boyfriend and bam, BANNED! For being gay... douche.
Still wasn't as bad as the Tekken Zaibatsu forums.

What could be worse than intolerance? Was it intolerable stupidity?
"Now, from Nature we obtain abundant information about ourselves, and precious little about others. About the woman you clasp in your arms, can you say with certainty that she does not feign pleasure? About the woman you mistreat, are you quite sure that from abuse she does not derive some obscure and lascivious satisfaction? Let us confine ourselves to simple evidence: through thoughtfulness, gentleness, concern for the feelings of others we saddle our own pleasure with restrictions, and make this sacrifice to obtain a doubtful result." -The Divine Marquis

Well... It's a long and embarrassing tale that would require a lot of back story to fully appreciate lol
It involves statutory rape, a fake engagement, a hate campaign and the fasting growing thread in Tekken Zaibatasu history... which to the best of my knowledge I still hold the crown for. :leekspin:

If you're up for writing it, I'm up for reading it. The tease was, how can I say it? Very teasing.

I must admit that I am also intrigued. If your up for it, I'd be more than happy to listen (or read as the case may be).

On a side note, gonna have to agree with MugwumpHasNoLiver and say your better off without those bigoted forum jerks.

The headaches are slowly going away again. In fact, I went all of yesterday without any ibuprofen despite the varying amounts of slight pressure in the head I felt. And today I hardly feel anything up there pain wise. So I think I'm out of the dark in terms of migraines for the moment. That's four days in a row of headaches, with the fourth day (today) being the least noticeable.

We'll see what happens from here on out.

I have a bad left knee that likes to mess with me at inopportune times.

I have a bad lower back that I blame on my last bed. Let's hope this new bed makes it better.

I have high blood pressure that I take medication for because I'm way too stressed. I do it to myself, I bet.

I almost quit drinking once for a year, but then said fuck it and started back on the sauce again. I'm drinking right now.

I can't see worth shit. My eyes are getting worse from constant computer use, and I haven't seen an optometrist in 2 years.

I have an obsessive... well, "problem" which renders me unable to do much else on my days off other than "that." YES. Shut up.
