Good stuff; and in many ways familiar to one brought up on mid twentieth century satire. I wouldn't really think to compare it with ME!ME!ME! (which still has the most insane energy). That's what's good about these shorts - they all inhabit such totally different worlds that there simply is no comparison; keeping that up for 30 of them will be an achievement in itself.

Woah, this short is.. amazing... I think. It's so fast, I need to watch it more often, I guess. I thoroughly enjoyed it in any case.

What I like most about this one is that they added a loli for no reason. I wonder how much of the original story is even present in this short. :lol:

I've not got the play by Karel and Josef Capek (yet; I've ordered a copy), but I've read an analysis of it. The short evidently follows it quite closely from start to finish.

The subs are not clear in some places. The strange phrase with the word "lightning" should read "The only response to this state of affairs is a thundering No!". And at the end, Adam's three "yes"'s are an affirmation that he will leave the world as it is, taking responsibility for it - and the last one is God saying "Me too". In the play Adam creates a woman to love him - that's the loli in the short.

The play is a polemic against the communist desire to destroy before recreating, showing that recreation doesn't bring about improvement, and this came over clearly to me from the short itself.

That was just pure amazing, no other words could I think of to describe it.
I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever

I really like the way it had a shout-out to the last two episodes of Evangelion, with the way the voice of God was just text on the black void.

sorry for this message but i had been overwhelmed by life those late days and missed some shorts

Is there a way that the first page or any page can contain an updated list with thumbs of the whole shorts (at the end , the page will be long but kinda cool ? )

Can someone do this ? please , that would be helpful to know what i saw and missed
I avoid the official website for now since it takes ages to display for me :facepalm:
