OK, I hate necromancy and being the de facto fun police but I must say what must be said.

Since the forum and I have been "back", I have noticed a handful of people with images and other things in their sigs that, if I correctly remember, are not allowed. Which brings to me to my question...

...is the no-images-in-sigs policy still in effect?

If so, there are about a half dozen folks who need their sigs "clipped".

If not, then I want to make my sig to be overflowing with .jpgs and crap too DAMMIT!

A lot of older members are popping back in from before the signature image policy came into effect.

I've de-imaged and added the link to the policy to a bunch of people, but I simply haven't had time to go through and get everybody yet.

It is still in effect. If you want to see random images and stuff like that, may I suggest Moonwalk.

I'm going to bump this thread to ask for confirmation on the continued presence of the no sig policy. Make that, beg for confirmation.

Yeah, a certain newcomer seems to be challenging the conventional mores of the forum. :P

I'd like my sig image back but some people around here are still on dialup. That is why monkey banned the use of them.

And it's not as if graduating from dial-up means you are free from an existence of sub-dial-up speeds.

Good. Some people were getting pretty stupid about the size of their sig images. If all you wrote was one line of text I shouldn't have to scroll down with my mouse to see the next person's reply. This is why I abandoned A4.

I vote for no sig images. I would rather give people other perks, like custom user titles, or the ability to upload images (like image shack).

I'm not into the image sigs, but custom title hell yeah! It's a lot better.

This doesn't even affect me at the least. Because I never really wanted an image signature, and loading pages is no problem for me coz my broadband speed is 100.0Mbps. 8)
