A Simple Signature Question

My signature is supposed to be a custom picture I had made years ago, but when I put it in the user config, even with the "img" tags, it only shows up as a link in my posts. However, in the preview of the post, it's the whole picture. Am I making a mistake? Sorry if this is the wrong section.

Nope, and every forum I got into always had the HTML tags disabled for security reasons.
