Favorite Japanese seiyuu

I have several favorites but i'll only list my favorite male seiyu and female seiyu.
Those being:
Male: Koichi Yamadera
Female: Megumi Hayashibara
Both coincidentally on EVA as Ryoji Kaji and Rei Ayanami/Yui Ikari/Pen Pen respectively.

Megumi Nakajima

cuz she's mai waifu ;___;

Otherwise:

Female: Kikuko Inoue, Megumi Hayashibara
Male: Norio Wakamoto

Kikuko Inoue and Megumi Hayashibara are about as original choices as... I don't have equivalent. But they're legendary for reason. I'm also tempted to add Ogata to list simply due to her phenomenal performance as Shinji but I've never heard her other major roles (fuck you shonen shit) so... :shrug:

Wakamoto is just... well, he is Wakamoto

Favorite female seiyuu: Megumi Ogata ^_^

Kotono Mitsuishi :heart:

Favorite male seiyuu: Norio Wakamoto!, Tomokazu Seki (Toji, ANIME TENCHO!!!), Tomokazu Sugita (Kyon, Yuuichi ^_^

) and Nabeshin.

For male, as everyone else already posted my favorite is Norio Wakamoto followed by

Honerable mentions on the male side include

Akira Ishida and Kappei Yamaguchi. What's kinda bad is that both Akira and Kappei have been type casted into certain sorts of roles. But from the occasional times when they ventured out of those roles theyve done wonderfully well( for Kappei when he did L's voice in deathnote and Akira when he did Coemushis in Bokurano)

For female

Marina Inoue: The voice of Chiri Kitsu, Yoko and others...damn I just love her voice, I just want to stroke it like...uhh...something that gets stroked.

Mayumi Shintani: She did the voice of Haruko and Tsubasa, she's got such a unique voice, I wish she did more.

The runner up for the female side is Aya Hirano, Like Kappei she's good at doing a lot of different sorts of roles.

But Wakamoto voiced the best characters there is. I take that back, they BECOME the best characters because he voices them. On top of that, Wakamoto voiced Lando in the Japanese dub of Star Wars. Lando.

The same can be said for Yamadera whose Stitch voice I prefer over the english one. That's not to say Wakamoto isn't cool, the guy's a badass Cell and Vicious. Plus who forget:
