Ok people we all like EVA, but its deep though prevoking nature take time and effort to understand. Some times we just want to see shit bow up, green haired women easy on the eyes, and a hero that just drips cool like mustard from my lunch.

What if you favorate non eva anime.

Me Cowboy Bebope, it has style, music, and just hords of coolness in its multi-layer story.

Whats yours, and why?

I suppose the only other anime I ever really watched was Transformers. I suddenly now feel cheated in that I was watching the dub.

I was a big fan of the original series.

Which TF did you watch?

My favourite anime? That changes frequently, to be honest - it doesn't only mean "the one I enjoy the most", it's just "the one I'm excited most about at the moment.

Rght now it would have to be Bleach. The character designs are so cool, especially Kuchiki Rukia, and the plots are exciting, well thought out, and inteligent, if not terribly deep.

In addition to that, for deep-seated Freudian reasons, there's nothing I like more than to identify with a main character who carries such an enormous, thick sword. That's why I liked FF7, and why I like this.

I also love Mai-HiME. It's one of life's gulty little pleasures. Even if you don't actually get off to fanservice, nice, appealing looking characters are something that I think most anime fans enjoy, and both the girls and the boys of Fuuka Gakuen are equally outstanding specimens, so it caters to all tastes,

I have to say that I really like Rurouni Kenshin. At one time I even referred to myself as "Sessha." :D

Going OT...
-----------

For those who didn't know, "Sessha" is a very humble way of saying "I" in Japanese - it's translated by Viz as "This one."

Compare these two lines:
"Ore wa Ryo desu" = "My name is Ryo"

"Sessha wa Ryo desu" = "This one's name is Ryo"

-----------

I really liked Naruto once, but I've abandoned it long ago.

FLCL made me hard. Cowboy Bebop is definitely a favorite, and I'm also pretty big on Lupin. Big O is pretty cool. Does Dorothy remind anyone else of Rei, only with red hair?

Sawao Yamanaka (singer for the pillows; I'm obsessed) did a voice-over for an episode of that show.

A little shonen titles like GTO, Gundam Wing, Dragonball Z, and Fatal Fury. I also watch shojos like Ceres and Sailor Moon.

I don't have a real next favorite anime after Eva, just a hodgepodge of ones I like better than the rest. Elfen Lied, Full Metal Panic (and its Fumoffu ova), Nadesico, Nadia, Nausicaa, (I just noticed I like a lot of ones that start with the letter N. I wonder if there is something to that.), NOIR (If I really had to choose a next favorite, this might be the front runner.), and for some reason I still really like Steel Angel Kurumi (Season one that is, the second season sucks.). Maybe I am just a sucker for kitsch on that last one.

I think Hellsing would be suitable becasue there is not much thinking involved, well maybe just a little.

i would have to also say Burst angel ( Bakuretsu Tenshi ). If you like girls with guns then this is your thing.

Well thats all from me ..

I'm watching Gungrave at the moment and i'm really quite impressed, I thought it would be something along the lines of hellsing with buckets of action and everything, but its really very story focused and interesting, with good character growth and such. Its not a mindless action series and not a hardcore mindfuck like eva but a very pleasant balance that i'm finding very enjoyable.

Great Teacher Onizuka. I've been on holydays in the snow last week. There were lots of Brazilians, and Brazil has a gigantic Japanese community. That's why I kept using Eikichi's introduction with girlies over there:

Affen Achtung, nijuusan sai. Dokushin'su. Yorrrrroshiku

And it works, they never expected I could talk to them by how I looked. Thanks Eikichi!
