Yeah. As you can see, I've caved. I think I made a solemn vow never to create an Off-Topic forum. Well, perhaps that was a bit unreasonable. But just so you know, this is on a trial basis. If I don't like what I see, then this goes bye-bye.

And while I'm at it. I'm looking for one or two dedicated and responsible forum veterans to be mods of this new forum.

Nothing, just thought I might bring on a new mod or two for the expressed purpose of lkeeping an eye on this new forum. You can can mod it as you have modding ability for the whole board, but I thought I might try a forum dedicated moderator for a change.

Yeah... that's actually a good idea. Now that I've loaded all of my neural synapses, I realize that under ordinary circumstances, I won't be keeping up with this off-topic shiznat. I mean, I have to SCROLL down the main forum page to get to it! That's just too much work!

This is truly depressing. Your intention was to just have this board focus on EVA, but people simply could not grasp that concept.

Logical fallacy Argumentum Ad Populum or Appeal to Popularity. Everyone thinks/believes/is doing it, so you should too. Caving to peer pressure is a big, bad thing.

Ah, now you're making me regret my decision. Yeah, I didn't want to move in this direction, but I'm hoping it can provide an outlet for people so that the off topic asides present themselves less in the main discussion and makes that discussion more productive as a result.

Its on a trial basis. If it does more ill than good, it will go away.
