maybe so, but the nerv place doesnt have the huge hole in it when they look back.

Actually you do; there's the shot from within the Geofront of the the Sephiroth (immediately before the 'explosion as giant eyeball' cut) and the shot from within the Geofront of GNR (immediately before the cut of the souls beginning to swarm around the Black Moon.) In both cases the pyramid and the reflector thingie are still standing, but are definitely looking the worse for wear. It's very difficult to make out in the Mangle version, but is plain enough in Renewal. Screenies available upon request. Oh, and the top of the pyramid is blown off, btw...

Kind of funny that the top of the pyramid is where Gendo's office was. :D

Is that so? I always wondered what was at the top of that thing.

Just as well he was elsewhere when Zeruel knocked the capstone off, then.

Gendo's office is a huge room with a window that runs corner-to-corner on all four sides. You can see the window near the top of the pyramid in exterior shots.

I'm probably forgetting something really obvious, but... what exactly is holding the roof up?

And Mr. Tines, what capstone?

Actually, I think Gendou's office is at the top of the thin tower next to the pyramid.

What do you mean with back wall? The only wall in the office is in the opposite of Gendo's desk, where the elevators and the giant display are. (Edit: Or maybe that is what you meant? Sorry, my mind is being slow today.)

But why dooes the glass slope inwards?

Because it looks cool. You're sure you aren't overanalyzing again?

What is overanalysis anyway?

Here's something to chew over. In episode #19, as Mr. Tines already noted, Zeruel did blow the pyramids capstone off. Perhaps Gendou has two offices?

Is that a trick question? Overanalysis is your hobby, of course.

I would think you should be able to clearly see, as I know I can, that Gendo's office is far below the area damaged in that picture.

Not according to "Ort:In der spitze des nerv-hauptquartiers". Why is all this stuff in german anyway?

Or maybe it's just a blooper. It's not like we haven't seen those before.

And Reichu and OMF are right, since three of the walls in the office consists of windows, there is only one place that the office can be located, and that's in the top of the pyramid.
