GGSS Char Insert CYOA discussion

I've talked it over with Synapsid Teague and Lili about doing a charactrer insert or change for Eva with Shinji being either A: Sunako Nakahara from Wallflower, B: Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran Host Club. Also after looking at that picture for my avvie, I had the idea of a GunbusterxEva crossover; and maybe making a CYOA for that maybe with either Shinji or Asuka as the main character. Post back to me and tell me what you think and what you would like to see.

But if it's Shinji as Sunako, or Shinji as Haruhi, then how would the main character be Shinji?

Then what about the gunbuster idea? Although I really dont know anything about that series............. Any serious constructive suggestions are welcome.

EDIT: TBH I'n just bored and looking for some new projects. I'm willing to take suggestions and etc from everyone else, all I ask is that they be serious, dont be snide, and try to be constructive and try to keep from being negative about it all.

SIGH I guess.......... But everyone's doing a CYOA I'm not doing cuz its a fad and I had another Idea besides the character insert. If it will help anything I will change the post title. Like I said earlier I'm just bored and looking for something creative and fun to do. But back @ topic, what do you think about the EvaXGB crossover I mentioned?

Personally, I think it'd be much more interesting for there to be a CYOA about one of the Angels (eg: Not Rei and Kaworu), or somebody else from the Eva-verse (Besides the lead, Shinji, as well as the other characters that already have CYOAs).

But that's just me.

Idono............ I guess Im just a Shin-nut. I was hoping to get some ideas from the other people here. Like I said I was just really bored, and came up with this on the blue. Also I have not watched Gunbuster, and just like the character of Noriko. So doing a CYOA of it with Eva nonetheless wouldnt be a good idea, except POSSIBLY if I make a new plot, but then I guess it would Super Robot Wars instead. But if nothing sounds interesting to anybody I might just go ahead and have this locked.

I think that if the concept is novel and amusing people will go there; but that's just me; every CYOA should have something to make it stand out of the others, be it more serious, or just plain funny.

The thing about CYOA's is that it's interactive on some levels, but also, you need to keep in mind that sometimes, leaving people to make choices will lead more often than not to a dumb choice.

That you stated you don't know anything about Gunbuster doesn't really help too much with making it a good idea for you to be writing a story about it.

...Like I said, I think a CYOA of another Eva character, say an Angel, or Misato or even Pen-pen or whoever else there is (Mana? Mayumi? A Bridge Bunny? a Classmate?), would be better.

EDIT: Even a CYOA about Mari would be okay provided the topic has a Spoiler warning about Rebuild, if you'd be so inclined.

I’m glad that you want to do a project Shinji-kun, but seeing as how quite a few CYOAs were already around I suppose it might not have come at the best time, I’m happy that you found a way though...And don’t worry about Blair, if he’s mean it’s only because he cares.

The guy lacking in sense enough to poke Adam with a phallic object, in other words Misato's daddy (or at least the fan accepted name for him)You can see how common sense (doesn’t) run in that familyand most likely Kaworu’s as well, you should probably read Reichu's posts on him, he really could work out as a great subject, there’s a huge amount of apocryphal stuff out there that describes his character and preimpact life.
