Teh 4th of July

So this Independence Day I had this plan of watching the fireworks from the roof of my house (the local fireworks are shot off by the Mississippi River and I live about 8-10 miles from the river). So to prepare for this spectacle I head up to the roof and grab my Zune for some awesome background music when low and behold, there are a bunch of trees blocking my view of the fireworks.

Feeling slightly disappointed I look over to field next my house and notice - THERE'S LOTS OF FIREFLIES IN THE FIELD AND IT LOOKS AWESOME.

So in short I went over and layed in the field and listened to Sigur Ros while fireflies were flying all about me. It was magical.

Top that.

I saw the fireworks at Univeral Studios-Orlando, Florida. It was awesome and the finale kicked all kinds of ass! The only downside was the very, very, very LARGE amount of people in attendence... Estimate... 30,000 people. Seriously. So a three minute drive back to the hotel was like three or four hours. Actually it might of been like an hour and a half or two trying to get out of the garage. Traffic was at a standstill... but all in all the show rocked! :leekspin:

Had great hamburgers, biked to the fireworks, smoked hookah for the rest of the evening. Girls were present, do I win?

I went out looking for an American. Just so I could say "We let you win."

I never found one...

I slept in late. Fucked around doing nothing for a couple hours. Then fucked. (American Style!). Then cleaned up and my lady friend and I went separate ways. She to her family and me to chill with older sis and watch the fireworks.

Not a bad July 4th. My first in the U.S. actually. Only took 24 years.
