Yes, we have a winner, it was "chopped liver." It's an old expression that is said when being overlooked. It basically means, "Hey, what about me?"

Yes, I love Utada Hikaru! She did the theme songs for Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, Simple and Clean (if you haven't heard it, download the Planet B Mix NOW) and Sanctuary (the Japanese version was better). She's an azming singer, bilingual, and her rendition of Fly Me to the Moon sounds really nice so far.

Actually, I don't think I do. Anime News Network said that Hikaru Utada will be singing "Fly Me to the Moon" in the new trailer, so I'm going to have to assume it's different. Unless, of course, ANN is wrong.

Still, does anyone know what it says?

Huh....

Well first off I have to say this singer must be incredibly well versed in English. Her "Fly Me To The Moon" actually sounds like it was sung by a Westerner. So props to her, no "Fry Me To The Moons" like in the original series mixes a couple times.

Obviously it can't compare to the king of "Moon" mixes that being Sinatra, but it sounds relaxed and interesting.

If anything her mix sounds like a key example of the ENDING CREDIT SONG. That piece of music that is ultimatly nothing great but acts as a relaxing piece of music as everyone rushes out of the theater....

to come on here and say if the movie's any good.

So what's this about a REAL trailer coming out June 30th I've been hearing? Does that mean audiences in Japan going to see LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD will be the first to see it?

You know, if you wouldn't have told me she was Japanese I would have never guessed it. Her signing command of the english language is exceptional and better than any of the other versions of that song that I have heard when dealing with Evangelion.

As for the latest Trailer...

I wasn't expecting them to do much but I was expecting a little more than that.

Hikari Utada (probably butchered her name) is well-versed in English because she lived in BOTH NYC and Tokyo. What's nice about her (original not the 2007 since I didn't hear it yet) remake of the song is she included the starting poem that most versions, including Frankie's, fail to include.

New Trailer: It still made me excited for teh Webuild, so I don't mind it. ^^;

Anyone else thinks Rebuild: Final SHOULD just be entitled "?" Afterall, that IS how 99% of fans felt after watching EoTV & EoE the first time thru; might as well have Rebuild leave you with the exact same feeling of "WTF did I just watch?"
