The Walking Dead
Very good graphic novels. I only have the first 3. Need to get the others.
I am currently reading 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.

How interesting... I'm reading Chrichton's Sphere, in which that book plays a crucial part in the plot.
Before that it was Idoru by William Gibson... cyberpunk existentialism meets the cult of personality, set against a backdrop of Japanese subculture and Second Life. Quite nifty!
Next I'm thinking some nonfiction, The Quest for the Theory of Everything by Stephen Hawking. Maybe I'll finally understand how Dirac Seas work?

@ schismatics:
I've already read both of those, and yes, they were quite enjoyable. Also Terminal Man, The Andromeda Strain, and Jurassic Park.

Damn good book! I should probably read that again too. My cousin downloaded the audio book which I thought would be a good idea but it cuts out all of his charts and comments.

Of course! Except for the parts where he has other people speak for him at the end of the chapters. But you don't get any of the little red comments or the charts and pictures.

I recently picked up Der Buddenbrook by Thomas Mann. Can't say much about it, as i'm merely through the introduction part.
On the manga front, i gotten into Monster lately. So far i like it very much.
Someone know of a scanlation of the Bereserk manga chapters up on the nets that doesn't descend into Tarzan-speak? I found one on Mangahut, but the literacy of the translation took a serious nosedive after a certain point.
EDIT:
Noticed this is a discussion thread, so, on the above... Audio books! Bah, the youth these days! Back when i was a youngster, when you wanted to read a book, you watched the movie version! Good for nothin', new fangled audio books, blah blah blah.

I agree with this post and be free to post some discussion then a thread with a one word post. I don't like spam and I would hate to see this get lock.

My current bedtime reading is ... off-beat, shall we say.
But, save for having a brief burst of Glen Cook fantasy (having chanced upon his new Instrumentalities of the Night sequence at the end of last year, and the re-issue of most of the Dread Empire in omnibus), there's not been anythingin the fiction line that has caught my eye for ages.

Lulz.
From what I've heard about Twilight don't read it. Even for giggles. IT'S NOT WORTH THE PAIN IN YOUR BRAIN.
