The sheer stupididity of that is pretty funny actually.

I can see it now, what Gendo really said during his last scene with Ritsuko in end of eva...

Who exactly writes wikipedia anyway? My only real exposure to wikipedia was when I had to look up how to spell a bunch of words in L337 for a project I was doing awhile back.

that's not Wikipedia. That's just some Eva wiki site.

Wikipedia's entry on Eva is actually quite good and filled with information. If you find something wrong, just fix it.

there will always be crap on Wikipedia, but it's an amazing accomplishment, nonetheless, and an invaluable resource for certain types of information. i'm a big fan of site, myself.

once i get some time, i'm gonna totally rewrite the entry on Gainax.

Agreed. The cool thing about the Wikipedia in general is that it's mostly "self-healing". Sure you'll get the occasional trolls that try and make a mess but the theory is that there will be more good guys than bad guys ready to fix the corrupted entries. The trolls (who are assumed to be the minority) will eventually get bored and move on.
