I couldn't even get into the anime so there's little chance of me seeing this.

I don't get it, FMP, with all its moments, its plot isn't anything special, what about this anime grabbed their attention? And who the hell decided Efron still looks Seventeen?

I couldn't stand Full Metal Panic. So this doesn't bother me except for the obvious fact which I predicted three years ago. Now that Hollywood has run out of good Asian horror films to remake they're diving onto making films off anime series.
I love some of the movies they make but Hollywood continues to be the insatiable beast and glutton of world media.

Anywho it's not like the guys who make these films at all care about the series itself. They're just going to make films off of popular titles. The way this film was greenlit is simple- some executive said "These anime movies might make us money. What series is popular right now? Find out." His poor intern went online searched top 10 fave anime, found the one that wasn't associated with some other studio and WHAM. Here comes a movie.

:sigh:

I haven't seen much of the show but from what I know about it I think I'd like it. It is beyond me how/why they decided to do a film on this series compared to their other choices, I didn't think FMP was popular enough to butcher.

Me thinks Eric Blair does not approve.

Live action adaption of anime are epic fail!!!!!

If Zac Efron is in it, he'll make Dragonball Evolution look like The Dark Knight. :rimshot:

Actually, I'm cooler with this than with Captain Shikinami.

Especially if Megan Fox gets to be Kaname :smirk:

Damn it, they decided to make a live-action version of FMP? What the hell? They haven't made a new season for 4 years and now they taunt us with this? Oh... this is very, very bad.

Oh and that Zac Efron guy looks like a douche. Not anything near Sousuke and he should be played by an East Asian anyway.

Question, are you THE LeoXiaou from the FMP forum? Because if you are, boy do you have a fan here <----------- actually two, if you count Kaname as well :smirk:

Well, a fan of FMP, or myself? I'm guessing it's the former.

Yeah, probably, unless there's an FMP forum I didn't discover and there happens to be a "LeoXiao" that's not me there.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a live action Naruto or Yu Yu Hakusho.

Someone might make a live action Bleach as well!
