The Blue Thunder of the AN Forums will see to it, no doubt.
'Rei's fate' would have been better.
So to avoid spoilers in topic titles, any occurence of the word "death" should be converted to "fate"? I can find a flaw in this: "Hmm, this subject's topic is 'The fate of [so-and-so].' Based on my knowledge of forum protocol, there is a very good chance that they are talking about somebody's DEATH specifically and not just their general fate. Goodness gracious me, I'll have to avoid looking at that. Too bad I haven't finished watching this anime yet and now I'll be waiting to see if this person actually does die or not. By fault for browsing the forums, I suppose."

I'm sure it's probably widely known by now to just completely stay away from series specific forums in which you have yet to see every episode. In fact, I rarely wander past this forum and avoid any discussions of RahXephon, .hack//SIGN, or any other series I haven't finished yet.

and also this.
I suggest you watch the last ten minutes or so of EoE, and pay carefull attention to the words of Rei, Kaworu, and Yui.
Huh? Asuka is certainly around and alive at the end!the end of everyone except for Shinji

I never really considered her "alive"--especially after seeing the End of Evangelion. She was like the death bringing angel or something.... o0; Well, that's what I thought. Heheh, I know there's a much more complicated explanation to it that I haven't the desire to understand at the moment... ~shrug~ I could care less, really. Just about everyone else died anyways...

Depends on what you mean by dead; I would say they're no more dead than Shinji was when he was dissolved within EVA-01 in ep20. Asuka was 'dead' too, but she got better, and there is every reason to suppose that the others can and will follow her example...Shota wrote:I never really considered her "alive"--especially after seeing the End of Evangelion. Everyone is on my back! I mean come on! "You need to change the title!"blah, blah, blah! If you have never seen Evangelion, here's a question, WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN ITS FORUM! And who's this "Blue Thunder" I'm hearing about? And another thing, I can dream about Rei all I want! And my location will stay like it is from NOW ON! So anyone who has a problem with it can kiss my @$$!!!!
And that's my outlook on that!
(qustions or comment's just PM me!)

For your benefit, s.b....
