Okay I want to know what you think that ADV and Gainax will think up to make money of this film. Just a few things I thought up myself:

1. Super Deluxe Shinji Ikari Action figure with Fireing Grapling hook launcher and crank!

2. Soundtrack featuring to many Rap artists :roll:

3. Advertising Campain with Various softdrinks and foods.

And also a videogame based in the movie
Maybe a comic based in the movie !!!

and who knows...
Maybe an animated series based in the movie !!! (no, wait... that's a little too much:roll:).

Well, Gainax went with hentai of Eva, so ADV could go with full fledged pornography of the main characters

...just kidding :twisted: Depending on who they're targetting with this movie, who knows. You'd think action figures and models of the Eva would be popular, but ADV might be targetting an older audience with the movie.

Anyway back on track: EVA-01 Candy Bars; Angel, the other White Meat , Cast Apperances on the Mupphets (Star Wars did it so why not EVA?) and the sponsering of a race car as well

*Shiver* Some of those suggestions are.. um... EVIL! Anyway I don't think there would be all that more merchandise than there was for the Lord of the Rings movies. IE a few a games and action figures (which already exist for eva). I wouldn't be too upset if I got to play a few english Evangelion games.

I can see it now.....companies scrambling to rerelease all the Eva dvd's and manga. Just like LOTR where you saw 20 different companies printing the same version of LOTR. We get to choose from 20 different copies of Eva dvds and manga with different covers, ranging from poses of Asuka and Reu inviting throes of masterbation, huge landscapes of Eva-01 rippping the shit out of Zaruel. Anno showing up at bookstores signing manga books. Video game flowing out the wazoo trying to grab what ever license hasn't been taking. Imagine things ranging from Eva Mortal Combat-esque game, to and Eva RPG, to Eva the RT Strategy trying to build up defenses for each angel, Eva adeventure game where you wander throught NERV leading to the journey through hell of the Human Istrumentality Project, to Neon Genesis Online, the worlds only MMORPG that makes you live online as a depressed angsty bitchy kid with instincts of a deranged killer in a 1000 ft tall robot.

I hope I die before this day befalls this cruel world.

An EVA statagy game wouldn't be so bad, If done right nor would an MMORPG, imagine creating your own character and EVA... sound like every SI writers dream :roll: Or maybe that one fic, Garden of EVA, was on to something, Virtual Reality EVA Battle Simulation, not R/S Incest and Asuka bashing of course.

Actually, Misato's car is real. It's a '81 Renault Alpine A318 but Sadamoto designed the interior to be modernized.
Needless to say, I WANT THIS CAR!
