Crossover?

Evangelion is an incredibly unique series. So much so, that I can't think of any series that could crossover incredibly well.

Instead, I'll ask you guys: What series could crossover with Eva without seeming stupid?

Eva's shoujo counterpart, Revolutionary Girl Utena, of course. I'm a fairly devout Shinji/Wakaba shipper.

But then every EVA fic I've written, and almost all the outlines-for-fics that I've sketched out have been somewhere on the crossover-to-fusion spectrum.

If we're talking about anything Eva, the new AU manga crossed with the persona VG series is a natural fit.

I also harbor a secret desire to see an Eva/Azumanga crossover. Just the idea of a conversation between Rei and Osaka... wow.

Eva/Xenogears seems a good fit as well, actually... seems a natural pairing, what with plotlines about insanity, Fruedian symbolism, madmen seeking godhood, mechs that can go berserk, and all manner of implied family issues.

Argeed with the post above. I think a anime that fits well with Eva like most mecha or sci fi animes but it would be hard to do since the Eva universe is not that strong compare to other animes like DBZ, Guyver and YYH. Also Marvel, Image and DC won't fit well with Eva though.

If that crossover was made then the Units would become Zombies also since that what happen in the Evil Dead crossover. Evangelion does have strong characters but not strong enough to win against most series and the Units won't last long in the Marvel universe since Galactus would end up eating them.
