What do you think he does when he gets home after a long day's work? What you think his residence looks like? I know that he travels a lot, but when he's home, what do you think goes on?

I see the guy having a big empty house with a large libary were he spends what little time he has off reading old musty books on the dead sea scrolls.

The real question is if he has Rei over at all . . . .

I think he never goes home. he probably just stayed at NERV all day and night with all the crap going on, but he probably had a personel quarters and a bed. he would still watch ATHF, he would relate to frylock so much, lol.

Good question....

Knowing him, he probably spends as little time as he can doing personal stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if he even lived at the HQ. He's so obsessed with his work, in many senses, I doubt he really leaves it that often, he probably has some neglected flat on the surface that he rarely stays at.

In his free time, I'll bet he sits around and obsesses over Yui, perhaps he reads philosophy....

Free time? whos cares. The better question is what exactly does he do while he's working? We only see him sitting around looking suspicious and dropping in some important dialogue here and there. I wonder how much he gets paid...

Like any executive, he sits around telling everyone else what to do, how to do it, that they need to cut costs, and abusing the staff. All this while he make twice as much as the rest of the staff put together. (Boy, does that sound cynical and bitter)
