Agony in Pink is the reason why FF.net doesn't accept NC-17 stuff anymore.
Immortality in Fickle Affection is a Kingdom Hearts slashfic with lots of gore, although it's actually quite hilarious compared to most disturbing slash.
Squad Broken is downright infamous in the Warhammer 40,000 community due to the fact that it's about an Ork raping a Space Marine up the ass.

Actually, come to think of it, I don't think some of the stuff in this story is even physically possible. I will admit that I didn't find it all that bad to read - it was weird, it was messed up, and I hope I never meet or talk to the author - but because there weren't any illustrations and I'm not a visual person, it wasn't as traumatizing as it probably should have been. I wonder, though, what could have possibly desensitized me so much that I can just brush this story off so easily?
Oh, and Kaji's a real trooper for holding out as long as he did about Fuyu.

Okay, I've figured it out. I'm not desensitized at all. It's just that this story is too over-the-top to be taken seriously. Think about it. In order to make this story work, the author had to warp the characters so much that they're not even recognizable as such. These aren't the characters you know from NGE. They're just names. You could've replaced the characters with Darth Vader, Han, Leia, and a couple of stormtroopers and it would have read just the same way. Because of this, the readers aren't really attached to the characters and they can't identify with them.
Plus there's the whole absurdity factor that I mentioned earlier. Remember the black knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail? He got dismembered and it was FUNNY. You know why? Because the scene was just too ridiculous to be disgusting. I think the same is probably true with this story. In his attempt to make the story as horrible as possible (if that was his goal), the author went too far, and consequently made the story nothing more than a lousy attempt at disturbing its readers, and quite possibly a humorous attempt at that.
(Yes, I know this is overanalyzation. But I was just on a bike ride, and I had to think about SOMETHING during that time.)
