Thank you, some of those fan-sub translations are so funny. I really pity the otaku who downloaded that Psychlo-Anime translation. I mean, EoE is hard enough to understand without having that to contend with.

Believe it or not, that one was the version of EoE that was commonly available before Mangle finally got around to releasing EoE in 2002, and was the first version of it that I and a lot of other people saw

.... and were you confused by Asuka believing that Shinji thought of her as food? I mean, usually, when a person does that, it's not food they have in mind.
