I have a myspace (along with a myartspace) and facebook...I'm not ashamed. I use it to keep in touch with my friends in other states and I'm a college student. Don't be friends with people you don't know/trust, don't put up slutty pictures, and you won't be the typical stupid myspace junkie. It really is a good way to promote your band, artwork, or other things you're trying to pursue. It's not much different then having any other personal website.

It's kind of hard to just stalk total strangers, you know? I can't just stalk on looks alone. There has got to be more to it than that. The person I'm going to stalk has to have that special something. There's got to be a connection.

Fixed for eye aching web-pages ... not picking on you in particular, Ripe, just taking advantage of begin fed a line that describes every MySpace page I've ever had the misfortune to look at.

This sort of thing almost makes me want to try a page to see if it's truly impossible to get something moderately legible and stylish out of their templates.

Well, it's sure better than having to pay for hosting your own website, unless that's your kind of thing. I also have AIM, Yahoo E-mail, and a liver....but I guess that's my fault for having something "popular". Not picking on your comment either Tines, I just don't understand why people that are so against myspace even bother to get on the site and look at profiles anyway.
