There's a camrip of the second half of the film in the torrents section of That Board.

Having watched it, it really is a scene-for-scene reproduction! It's very dark in terms of colour compared to the original series. On the elevator down into terminal dogma Shinji and Misato pass through a room filled with enormous organs hanging in pink stuff like how the Reiquarium looked after Ritsuko destroyed the Rei clones. It was nice to see how the pilots actually put the plugsuits on (the neck ring splits into two pieces). The best bit though was the fight with Ramiel.

Kaworu is literally standing before the Moon Giant when he gets out of his coffin btw, it doesn't take place in the past or any of the other theories in the moon giant thread here.

Can't wait for it to come out on DVD so I can buy that and see it at full quality!

I'm watching it now. It's close enough to the original to still make sense without having seen the fist half. I think a lot of the darkness of the color has to do with the camera that's filming it not being able to pick up everything without sufficient lighting.

If the second half is out it must mean the first is as well, it's just a matter of finding it.

After the video has finished downloading into the webplayer, go into your cache (if you're using firefox) and copy/paste the file into My Documents or whatever, give that file a .avi extension so you can watch it anytime you want without downloading it again (you never know when the videos might get pulled down, either).

Would it be all right to directly link the videos here or is that against the forum's rules 'cause it's copyrighted?

I just finished watching it (minus the preview for the next movie). The fight against Ramiel was great even with crappy lighting, low-quality sound, and compression artifact squares all over the place.

I loved the little creepy touches such as (SPOILERS) Lilith's twitching legs and Ramiel's shrieks.

Not being well versed in the world of anime outside of the rudimental knowledge I have (I'm obsessed with Eva and in turn a huge GAINAX fan and a few other titles but most anime names slide by me without a clue of what they mean)-

Could someone post a link to where this camrip can be found. I don't even know what "That Board" is?

He's complaining that the movie doesn't start from the beginning (part A). The first half of the movie isn't online yet, there isn't a part A1 or A2 on the tokyo3 site linked previously at least.

Click the link near the top of the page that has tokyo3 in it for the forum index, and check that for when part A is uploaded, should have one of those little attachment paperclips next to the thread title.

I only watched the tail end of it, because I had to see the Kaworu scene and the previews. Quick, someone get screencaps, because I don't know how!

Based on the previews, you can really call the next movie "Attack of the Evas". Would be funny if half of them end up being possesed by Angels or piloted by Angels.

Eva-06 looks...interesting. And by intresting I mean "It has a red visor".

Kaworu is seen in his plug suit, but Asuka is also featured, so I wouldn't be suprised if Shinji has to interact with them both...at the same time.
