Hey there ,

Nice to see this place back again and running well ..
Anyway , As you know guys every Evangelion movie was accompanied by a Brochure (pamphlet) , Such as the Red Cross Book / Death / Re:birth .
They happen to hold a lot of intresting production notes and info that a fan would quite enjoy reading .

That's Right , This is the new Movie's Pamphlet AKA Your (Not) Alone . I Love the Complex yet simple combination on the cover , Eva01 EX is clearly shown in a still postion after it jumped in the air , And i have no idea why but i think the crucified position could spark some Controversy . Or maybe it's just something they never intended . However i am working on adding this piece of art to my collection .

I Don't know if this have been montioned on some page in some thread but i thought this would be an intresting topic to look at .

Thanks .
I am a lilith .. YAY .. *those jerks* :/ ...

The cover is kind of like the RCB cover except with a eva instead of a, well, red cross. Can it be the Eva Cross Book? The Unit 01 Cross Book? The Purple and Green Cross Book? Ok that last one sucks.

Anyway name aside it looks very intresting. Then agian I guess it could have anything in and I'd consider a Eva movie pamphlet intresting.

Nice! I like the cover, plain and simple.

Oh so very interesting.

The lighting in the pics look, different. Odd ambiance throughout, especially when compared to the original.

But very nice!

Awesome. Thanks for posting! Does anyone know what Rei (or is it Yui?) is doing on Hell train with Shinji? The picture is on the second page.

Woooow 8D

That looks really quite fantastic! I love the way Unit1 looks like an upside down crucifix - it's really striking, just as the religious imagery in the original Eva was!

I'm goin' get me one of those on eBay, I think!

Why? This isn't the first time Eva-01's been "crucified" and if Lilith didn't spark controversy 10 years ago then this won't either.

You can expect a lot of "OMG EVA-01 IS SAINT PETER?!" posts, though.

Unless I've gone completely mad, Eva 01 is floating in space in a cross position in End. So the cover is probably just a nod to the fans.
The pregnancy is now absolute.

That image is just amazing! The more I see it, the more I appreciate it! It's glowing in certain parts, resembles an upside down crucifix and also a giant robot in motion. And it's got a simple black background with nothing else going on. The artists at Gainax (or should I say Khara) are geniuses!

There are 27 pages (including the front cover) labeled staring from 4.0 to 27.0, then there is a page of credits (from the end of the movie), a page for the preview (it's all white with some writing to the side and 7 black boxes labeled EVA-05, EVA-02, EVA-04, EVA-3, EVA-06, ADAMS, LILIN+?), a page with adverts for the Shiro Sagisu soundtrack and those stick posters that they've been giving away all over the place in Akihabara, a page with adverts for the evastore and the revotech figures, a page of models from hobby.net, a page of random adverts from tamachi.net, b-ch.net, and those eva cards you get from those packs that comes with crackers, a page with UCC adverts, and a page with a bunch of trinkets (including an Eva-01 progressive knife) and then the back of the booklet which just says in small print "evangelion.co.jp".

So that makes it, uh... 36 pages including the cover and back?

The books were hard to come by in Nagoya, they were all sold out in one theatre, said they'd get more in 2 days, called them 2 days later and they just got a shipment, got to the theatre an hour later and all of them were sold out. Managed to pick up several at the big theatre further away.

Sorry, they've all been accounted for. I would have loved to buy a shitload and give them away but the guy at the theatre gave me a weird look for buying more than there were people in our party (was just me and rockthing), we felt bad so we hung around the theatre pretending we were waiting for the next showing of the movie.

I'd try to scan it but it's bound together by glue so you can't open the book up very much without cracking the spine.

Oh well, somebody will scan it eventually and we'll see it. I hope.

Wow, that sucks. (I must keep that in mind if I'm lucky enough to go to Japan for 03/04.) At least you have that though.

Anyway, I like Shinji's angry face in the booklet.

The phrase "Let me see your war face!" comes to mind.
