To all EVA 01 figurine/model kit collecters!

Anyone ever experienced this?
There are spots of Fungus/Moss(White Fuzzy spots) emerging on the 'Rubber Parts' of my PG EVA 01 & LMHG EVA 01 model kits...(EVA going bezerk?!!)

Aside from 'wiping' it off, is there any way I can keep it from coming back?

Yeah, living in Malaysia might be your problem. Warm, humid climate.

Bleach kicks mold's ass, so a wipe-down in a diluted solution might do the trick.

I won't promise that an eva fig is color safe though.

I would recommend rubbing alcohol also. It works good against mold and fungus, and should be more gentle on the plastic then bleach.

Yup, make sure you know what kind of paint, adhesive, plastic, and alcohol you're using so as not to catastrophically mar Yui-sama and have her come to life at night and burn your children.

The set has 16 base figures:
Eva 00, Eva 01, Eva 02 and Eva 03 (each in clear and metallic color); Sachiel, Samshel, Ramiel, Tuniel, Clockiel, Sahaquiel, Bardiel and Zeruel...
I'm buying a box with 12 smaller boxes... In each smaller box there's 1 figure at random...
And a piece of chewing gum, usually orange flavour... You can guess why /

I just hope these figures will look decent. Judging from the grainy photos we've seen, seems like half ot the angels look good while the rest including the Evas look absolutely terrible. Not sure about you Arael, but I'll resist from buying these for now. Come on....some other company should make these into larger figures. Maybe a figure set or something! One that offers larger figures with more detail i might add.

Don't you know what gashapon trade figures are ? it's like album cards, you get X amount, and it may be repeated figures, the sell point is to trade with other collectors to complete your set, but since we don't live in Japan......

And if this set is anything like most of the smaller blind box sets like the kubricks it will have one figure that is only one per box or worse. I usually just wait and buy sets for blind boxed series because the only reason you would buy a carton of 12 or a case of 48 would be to get chase figures and you end up spending more than you would while having doubles of easy to get figures that no one wants.

In any case you know I don't display them, I want a 3D base to work with in photoshop... If they're gooey and stuff, I can correct it easyly [is that spelled rigth?]
