Well first off, new to the boards so hello all
ANYWAYS
I was at the Armageddon Pulp Expo here in wellington, NZ, where weta studios is located and I was able to talk to one of the lead concept designers at Weta.
In my conversaition I asked about the evangelion project and he said they hadn't worked on anything in a long time and all he had done was some angel sketches. So I guess this is just more news that nothing has happened and will not for some time I guess.

Hopefully they can snag Michael Bay, fresh off his Transformers success, to direct this movie. He can make the same sort of improvements to the Evas that he made to the Transformers. Eva-01 with flames painted on it? Hells yeah! [/sarcasm]

I meant "tossed" more like if they'd just churned out a piece-of-shit exploitation-movie for a quick cash-in. As it is now, at least it looks like they're taking this shit as seriously as it deserves
