I've gotta admit I'm pretty jealous. Perhaps I should post some pictures of my cels from various anime.
Awesomely Shitty

-On EMF, as a thread becomes longer, the likelihood that fem-Kaworu will be mentioned increases exponentially.
-the only English language novel actually being developed in parallel to its Japanese version involving a pan-human Soviet in a galactic struggle to survive and to export the communist utopia/revolution to all the down trodden alien class and race- one of the premise being that Khrushchev remains and has abandoned Lysenko stupidity

here's something interesting to do with eva on the rubberslug site that host my gallery. it's a search of all the galleries that contains cels from the tv series and the movie EOE on rubberslug. the thumbnail part is not totally complete since it only list those cels that has the key word "evangelion" in the comments. but the gallery listing below the pictures, list every gallery on rubberslug that has a cel with the number contained within it. enjoy.

Re: sadamoto sketch and autograph
Anno draws King's head as an uncircumcised dick w/hairy balls. I'm not sure if it's a comment on the ever-present nutsack King sported in the series (you never saw Scooby-Doo with one...wait...is that why he talked that way?) or just his little way of showing affection to the fans.

that was so funny. i so remember that now. at least we knew at the start of the show that king was a male. they didn't draw pen pen that way in eva but is that because penguin live in artic climates or in pen pen case, a refrigerator, and it wouldn't be advantageous to be so exposed. lol.
anno is a great director but his sketch of king looks like a bobblehead with his tail put through a pencil sharper in the sketch of my original post. while sadamoto designs are great, i really like his earlier style like most things in life i.e. early works of most creative people seems to hold a certain appeal over their later ones for me. just wish there were more original sketches by him on yahoo Japan to buy.
i thought this post would bring out some of the collectors who might have been to anime-con in 1991 at the charity auction but it seems to be not working. i remember he drew one of grandis and nadia for certain, just can't remember the image now.
now for a nice image i have of nadia.
