I think that Gendo is just one of those characters that needs to be casted perfectly...or else.

Thats all there is too it. he might not look a whole lot like gendo. but alan rickman is a GOD at playing people like Gendo. I know a lot of people don'e want Harry Potter actors playing in the live action Eva movie. But come on people he is so good at stuff like this.

I meant that whole thing as a bad joke...but still...I want to hear Gendo or the Gendo-esque character assert his pimpness, by saying and then doing something totally KICK ASS!

I'd have to say that Gendo very quickly asserts his pimpness during the first episode when the large steel beam goes flying at him and he doesn't even flinch.

Then again he asserts it when he removes the entry plug door thingy with his hands.

If either of those scenes are included in the movie then I think he'll come off looking pretty bad ass.

It would definatly help out his pimp factor if they make it seem like the rest of the Nerv employees are freaking out during the angel attacks but he remains completly nonchalant.

I wish I could make an eva movie.
