Eva Forum Games

Ahoy Hoy!

I've been on many forums over the past year. Particularly Megatokyo.

One big thing over there is forum games

they come in different sizes and shapes and flavours. Such as:

-"continuing fic games"
someone will write a short opening to a story and forum members continue it how they see fit.

-"What would 'character' do?"
someone poses a question or problem and askes how a specific character would react. Forumgoers answer.

These are the only two examples I could think of offhand.

My question is whether anyone would be interested in having forum games on Eva Monkey.

Post your answers and, depending on the feedback, forum games may start.

...........what gave you that Idea? I am not an Admin anywhere..... Is there another 01X hanging around out there that I don't know of? On another site I am a mod though.......

I've wanted to host an Eva RPG for some time now.

I've got story Ideas, but I'd rather hear what you guy's whould like in a game.

Oh! and for characters, we could change our avatars to the character's we're using.

Hmmmmm....... maybe it is time to lay off the posting for a bit..... First things first though... we're gonna need the setting..... then a Game Master to run it.... characters..... profiles..... stats.... anything else I'm missing?

Able to kill EVERYONE! Yes that means we could say Shinji jumps over the desk and sticks a pencil in Gendou's throat. But we could revive people. I'm looking for a somewhat wacky RP with a little depth.

EDIT: MY stupidity finally wore off...... :P This is not going to work, EM will not let this happen.....

I've worked on a quasi-RPG script for an Eva based game a while back. It was pretty cool. It followed one of the set episodes, but it progressed on it's own story afterward.

I've hosted a variety of games online and offline before.

Plus I REALLY want to do this :shock:

I'll need to know who want's to play. I'll probably start the actual game in a new thread to make it easier.

So, here we go.

Post which characters you'd like to play as. The scenario will include the entire cast of Eva.

However, I'd like to have the player character's play as the leading roles, such as the three children.

Because this game will run parallel to the Eva series, I'm allowing the two other children to be playable as well.

Here's the list of possible characters:

Shinji,
Rei,
Asuka,
Toji,
Kaworu,
Misato,

and any others that may come to mind.

Characters such as Gendo, Ritsuko and Fuyutsuki I'd like to have as NPCs, just to help the story along.

I'm not going to try and come up with some system to help everyone decide who's going to be who...

...so, It'll pretty much be first come first serve. Gomen.
