Thread title was "Thread of Female Kaworu Theory anywhere?"; changed it to better reflect its current status. --Reichu

Is there a theard on the female Kaworu theory anywhere either in here or Discussion? I thought I stumbled across it once, but now I can't find it. :( And if there's not a theard about it, one should be made. ;)

Female Kaworu? I am not going to listen to reason. Kaworu + female = no. No excuses.
He was warrior and mystic, ogre and saint, the fox and the innocent, chivalrous, ruthless, less than a god, more than a man. There is no measuring Muad'Dib's motives by ordinary standards. In the moment of his triumph, he saw the death prepared for him, yet he accepted the treachery. Can you say he did this out of a sense of justice? Whose justice, then? Remember, we speak now of the Muad'Dib who ordered battle drums made from his enemies' skins, the Muad'Dib who denied the conventions of his ducal past with a wave of the hand, saying merely: "I am the Kwisatz Haderach. That is reason enough."

...the fuck?

Maybe the female thing is only applicable to giant WTF beings that are inherantly female anyway? Either way, Kaworu is dead, and that was probably just Lillith fucking around or something...?

I suspect that most of the F-K discussion is on ANF threads from about a year ago.

In a nutshell, the suggestion is that Kaworu (the embodient of the feminine soul of the Mother of Angels) is built like an Eva (wide shouldered, DFC female); so is sent out into the world as a reverse-trap.

Oh yeah, well if you want to punch Reichu, you have to get through me first! /over-dramatics.

Why did asking about a simple request cause some much contersory? Mou! >_<

Anyway, it's basically like this: Kaworu=Adam's soul. Adam=Female, so Kaworu=female I just wanted to know if there was any series evidence for this...

That reaction is one of the best things about telling people that when it comes to Kaworu, they got her gender wrong.

If you go by what MaggotMaster says, Adam and co are all genderless beings due to being funky mysterious creatures we know almost nothing about.

It's a matter of what makes a more reasonable interpretation of Shinji's reaction to what is really the last of the mother figures that he eventually rejects (rather than the usual assumption "ZOMG, wussy boy has really caught teh ghey!!!111!eleven").

Everybody's forgotten about the fem-Kaworu thread already? Aw, shucks.

The sorts of volatile reactions the idea gets are always amusing.

"Jinzou ningen" is literally "artificial human", but it can also mean "android". It's sort of ambiguous. (They probably wanted it that way.) That the Evas are just machines is the "polite fiction", as is evident in their mechanical designations and the other terminology used with them.

Also, I srsly hope you aren't srs about this Fem-Kaworu thing, srsly.

Wait, Reichu... you still seriously propose this theory? I thought it was sort of one of those of your "revelations" type things...

Also, Sailor Star Dust: your signature still says your Avatar is "Ne, Shinji... shiyo ka? " ...you'll have to explain this one to me. XD

Oh yes, one more thing. How did that thing about Kaworu having vaginas in his palms come up? If I had to guess, I'd say it's because his palms are never shown in the episode (though I've never watched it with that in mind to check) and Lilith's palms opened into vaginas while absorbing the souls?
"Today?... hmm... today... right... Um... I'm just gonna wing it." -Guess who
