I know I saw other people from the board at the...interesting Evangelion Panel that Eva monkey decided to host. I thought it was, well interesting. We also got to meet his Girlfriend!

I'm still stoked about that panel. At first I was dissapointed about having the smallest of the three panel rooms, but I figured I would EASILY fill the room. And I did, there were even people sitting and standing on the sides. I don't know how many seats were in that room, but I estimate that there were a good 150-200 people there.

As for the panel itself, I thought it was good. I was a bit too sleep deprived to discuss deep subject matter, but I think I kept my line of thought intelligible and comprehensible. Unfortunately I stayed too long on the info portion, but I had some important stuff to spiel about (Platinum, Unofficial Guide, Love & Pop).

I find it funny that at the end of the panel, the staff made everyone clear the room and line up for the Tokyopop panel directly afterwards. And they didn't even fill the room.

Its not everyday that your panel draws more attendees than an major industry panel.

I agree with Eva Monkey that it went very well. Besides that fact that we were being complete with inapropiate comments and a sign saying Eva Monkey is teh sux. Oh, and we decided Penpen killed Kaji!

And, unfortunately, I wasn't able to track down anything rare that people would be interested in. Sorry. One thing I noticed is that there was an awful lot of stuff, but nothing really rare. There were actually very few people selling artbooks. I found the dealer whom I bought rare stuff from before, and I talked to him briefly, and he said that it was odd, he usually has a few rare Eva books whenever he goes to a con. but not this time. I'm going to see what I can do instead though.

I'm going to throw the panel at Otakon again, once staff elections are held. I can't request a panel until there's a panel coordinator.

Typically, I do a bit of info and then go into Q&A. This year I did info for more than half the panel. So I'm thinking that next year, it should be more of a fan summit or just a straight Q&A session at blinding speed.

I'm thinking of throwing an Eva panel at Katsucon. I did one there two years ago, and then did Psychology and Sociology in Anime last year. So I may be there too.

Dunno just yet.

The other two people are Eva Monkey's Girlfirend and Friend. I think they're on the forum. Mostly Eva Monkley made fun of the book with references such as "I mean what is an AC field?".
