It sends a message i think...there are pros and cons...

now with weither or not it should be life or death sentence...i personally don't care...but for the countries sake... the US needs some wins...we haven't really had any significant tunring point victories...This is good psychologically because it puts the bad guy to justice...things like that raises morale...its not as good as executing Osama which would cause American morale to skyrocket...but its good...it reminds people that we knocked out a dictator that gassed down almost one million of his own citezens...with the Iraq situation as out of hand as it is...its good to see a bad guy get his...

of course the Islamo-fascists will try to make him a matyr (which is virtually impossible no matter how brainwashed the people in those countries are)...and call for a rise against the "Zionists"...

but thats expected and would happen no matter what we did with him...

...Bush's approval rating will go up maybe 2-7 points and will sinkback down by the end of January...

Sadly, this fails to solve any of the problems in the world right now. The US and UK still have troops deployed in Iraq, there's infighting among the Sunnis and Shiites of Iraq, there's a large conflict in Somalia and many are dying, not too mention there's still the threat of terrorism.
